Veterinary Instrumentation's modular hip system offers four different femur combinations. There are two stem options, two ball options (giving two different neck lengths). Two acetabular cup sizes mean that a total of 8 combinations are possible. The most common combination is a small stem together with a long neck ball and small cup.

Hamish Denny is the surgeon most familiar with the system having performed over 200 procedures. An instructional video is included with the set.

This is not a 'high tech' system requiring mutiple jigs and equipment. It is a simple, well proven system which assumes that the surgeon has the knowledge and experience to place the implants correctly.
